Can I order more photos?
Yes, of course! There's no pressure to order additional artwork. We have special pricing just for this event. We offer canvas and framed portraits, holiday cards, gift prints, books, and digitals.
What are the print prices?
On average clients who have participated in past holiday fundraisers have spent around $200-1000 on additional artwork because they love their portraits. We like to add on extra prints and/or digitals for clients who purchase additional artwork. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Greyhound Pet Adoption Northwest. Purchasing additional artwork helps a greyhound find their forever home.
How long is the photoshoot?
We have reserved 1 hour in the studio for you, your dog, and your family. Mini Session photoshoots are about 30 minutes long. The second half of the time reserved is set aside for you to choose your artwork.
What if my dog doesn't know how to sit or stay?
Then you are in good company. Kolu's dog doesn't know how to sit or stay either. We have a few tricks to get dogs to pose for photos. Don't worry if your dog doesn't know commands. It's okay. We specialize in pet photography. That includes getting dogs to sit and stay, or making it look like they can!
Do you charge for additional dogs?
There is no charge for additional dogs. The more the merrier. It might be a little crazy, but we like filling the studio full of dogs.
Will other families be in the studio at the same time?
Your session is reserved just for you. There will be no other dogs or families in the studio when you are there.
I don't have a dog but would like holiday photos. Do you photograph people and kids?
Yes! Kolu specializes in pet photography but also knows how to photograph families and children.
My dog is reactive/shy/nervous, can we still attend?
Of course. ALL dogs are welcome. I have 10+ years of experience working with dogs, including rescue and reactive dogs.
Can I bring my cat/ mini donkey/ guinea pig/chicken / mini horse / hedgehog?
Sure! Please make sure everyone goes potty before the session. Please let us know what type of animal you are bringing so we can accommodate you.
